  3. Oracle Vm Virtualbox No Bootable Medium Found
I have been resizing the hard drive on virtual box for a number of years and it's pretty straight forward. Use VBoxManage in terminal on the mac, then go into windows and allocate the space.
Today I went in and executed the standard command to increase the size from 55Gb to 65Gb.

It happens if you don't pay attention to the primary boot disk. When you choose ISO image, also expose the cd as primary. Also, there is the priority for boot in 'System option'. You can manage them by clicking a small arrow next to Boot order checkboxes. 20 min trying different options in VirtualBox. On a Mac OS X host, use e.g. /dev/disk1 (and unmount all partitions on disk1). FATAL: No bootable medium found. IN VIRTUALBOXFatal: no bootable medium found! System halted. When you are install os. Definitely need for a os setup. This os setup will booted on the pendri.

Virtualbox no medium found
Code: Select allExpand viewCollapse view
VBoxManage modifyhd '/Users/...../bk.vdi' --resize 65000

When I go into the Virtual Box Manager I see the .vdi under storage and it's (Normal, 63.48Gb) but get the FATAL: error when trying to start the machine.
The log file looks pretty standard like it cannot see the file, but the fact that it knows it's 63.48Gb would indicate it is seeing it.
